As I remember her, Alyra
was a quiet, studious young woman with more anger in her eyes than anyone
else I'd ever met. She reminded me of myself "when I was her age" (those
were the words I heard Ellanna thinking). Certain dreams
make me think that I actually knew her "sire" before I ever met her. So
far as I can tell, before being brought to The Order, she was fairly
prominent as a speaker in both anthropological and occult circles, and
went by a name other than Alyra. She wrote a widely published book, entitled
something like "Greca Roma", on the religious practices of Ancient Greeks
and Romans and their resurrection into modern society, that Ellanna had
read, and was very impressed by. Later recollections of Alyra seem to indicate
that after escaping The Order, she met up with Ellanna in the U.S. These
memories seem to take place in the late 80's, if not the nineties. Very
strange, if you consider that I was born
in 1979.
Visions of her future and past incarnations
lead me to believe that I have known her for quite some time, and even
in this lifetime, we tend to lead parallel
lives.
